Twelve Months of Alton

As a Christmas gift to aunts, uncles, grandparents, and great-grandparents, Alton presented a calendar featuring himself as the picture for each month of the year. Andy and I had really wanted to make a calendar as a gift, but hemmed and hawed for awhile about what pictures to use. One of him for each month taken during the actual month? "Theme" shots where Alton was dressed as Santa/a Leprechaun/Lady Liberty? Pictures that are just stinkin' cute? In the end, we opted for the "theme" shots and had a grand 'ol time collecting props, dressing the shots, and scouting locations. We started the calendar in mid-October, which made it problematic when we decided that the June shot needed to be taken outside on a sunny day (which were few and far between at the time) without any fall-toned leaves in the background (even harder to achieve). We are so, so happy with the finished product, as were the recipients of the gifts. Take a look at the shots below and pick your favorite, then vote in the poll in the upper right of the blog!
