On Wednesday, the 3rd, I took a rain break from working on the yard and played with Alton for a large majority of the day. Katie was working very hard at getting our house ready for our guests (my parents!). Alton spent some time in his play room, digging through his box of instruments. He found two egg shakers and a drum, which he decided to combine into one instrument. You'll notice that the string for the drum is around his neck so he can egg-shake with both hands. This was his idea from the start - what a genius!!!
